Background
I am a scientist and nurse, a mother and community volunteer, a wife and a Christian. I have lived on 3 continents, and now make my permanent home in the Northeast USA. Piecing Hope stemmed from an understanding I gained on a nursing trip to Africa: facilities can be donated, but self-esteem and self-worth does not come from financial donations, only through the dedication, effort and transparency of people on a one-to-one basis.
We, the quilt makers, salute the value of each human life that God has chosen for this world. Piecing Hope is non-denominational, cross-cultural and multi-national.
